Daniel Sturridge said he has “excellent relations” with manager Jurgen Klop and has no concerns about his future in Liverpool. The striker only started for the sixth time this season in the Premier League on Sunday against West Ham, but presented himself on the level and scored the first goal in the game.
“My manager votes in confidence and we have a good relationship,” said Sturridge. The English national has a contract until 2019, but often the media of the UK write about his eventual departure due to the fact that Klap rarely uses it. “I’m not worried about the next season, I’m looking forward to the last match of this one, we need three points and we will be in the Champions League,” he added.
